What is the relationship between RAJ Ltd and PJB Publications Ltd?
Regulatory Affairs Journals Ltd. is a wholly owned subsidiary of PJB Publications. When RAJ Ltd was acquired in
1998, it had two publications, the Regulatory Affairs Journal and RAJ (Devices). In May 1998 the electronic archives
of RAJ were published as the RAJ CD-ROM.
The CD database of European regulatory information, previously published by PJB Publications as part of the European Pharmaceutical Law Centre (EPLC) services became part of the Regulatory Affairs Journals Ltd in 1999 and was re-named RAJ Europe.
The RAJ brand name is also used for a series of booklets on regulatory topics, including the EU Marketing Authorisation Processes and the European Guidelines.
Where does RAJ obtain its information?
Without giving away trade secrets, we can assure subscribers that we have a world-wide
network of regulatory correspondents and contributors who, with our own journalists, ensure
that important regulatory developments are collected from all areas of the globe where there
are major regulatory agencies and/or significant pharmaceutical markets.
Add to this the work of the RAJ Journalists, the editorial resources and the expertise of PJB Publications and you have a powerful machine for collecting and sifting global regulatory intelligence.
How does RAJ validate its information?
The information published in RAJ comes from authenticated sources and items do not qualify for our
Worldwide Update until we can provide you with a valid reference to the source document or provenance
of the information.
Who can contribute features and editorials to RAJ?
Our editorials and features are normally commissioned from contributors who are well known in
regulatory circles, and to the Journal. Nonetheless, we welcome offers for new authors to contribute
articles, but we set high standards for the content, which must be in keeping with the remit and
scope of the Journal.
